Movies: Chow Yun Fat in The Replacement Killers

Great Action movie. I love Chow Yun Fat action movies. They always have a dark quality, yet remind me of a good James Bond film...without the nonsense of flying cars, and ejector seats. Just action and reasonably good acting.

Movies: The Cutting Edge

Considering this is from the Director that gave us Running Man, The Cutting Edge manages to be a sweet love story that is both funny and moving at the same time. The cast is a bunch of solid actor who were never stars, but given how this piece turned out, maybe they should have been.

Very enjoyable and would probably be a great date movie - though since it is about figure skating it might be too much of a Chick Flic.

Movies: Grosse Point Blank

A very quirky little movie. Moves too slow in spots, but not bad. The 80's retro soundtrack made it worthwhile.

If it saves even one life

KnoxNews: Local tells the story of how a young boy's training through the NRA's Eddie the Eagle program may just have saved his life.

The boy found a gun in a credit union restroom and did exactly what he was taught to do: "Stop. Don't Touch. Leave the Area. Tell an Adult."

I have heard so many disparaging things about Eddie the Eagle - from those on the left of course - that it is good to know that in at least one case, it worked.

Lots and Lots of sharks in Florida Waters is why I stay in the boat as much as possible. Some species are bit more aggressive than the spinner sharks in this photo.
